What happens to your email address.
Right now Medovo is a waitlist. There are no accounts, no payments, nothing to log into. This page describes everything we collect today. It gets rewritten before the product opens on 5 October 2026, because recordings and transcripts need their own consent and they do not exist yet.
1. What we collect
The waitlist form
Two things: your email address, and your answer to the single question the form asks. The form also stores the time you submitted it. It does not ask for your name, your school, your scores, your phone number or your country, and we do not add any of that afterwards.
Tally, which receives the submission, sees the IP address it arrives from. Any web form does; that is how a request reaches a server. We have not switched on the settings that would make anything of it: no country lookup, no blocking by IP address, and no spam check — a spam check would pull Google reCAPTCHA onto this page, and we would rather have neither the tracker nor the sentence in this policy explaining it.
Visits to this page
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and writes nothing into your browser’s storage. It also does not fingerprint you — not by IP address, not by your browser string, not by anything else stitched together to stand in for a name. A small script measures how quickly the page loaded and reports the page address and the link you arrived from. Cloudflare does not follow you from here to anybody else’s site.
The dashboard we look at breaks visits down by country, browser and device type. It is counts, not people: there is no identifier in it that leads back to you, and no way for us to ask it what any one visitor did.
Server logs
Our host handles your IP address in passing, to deliver the page and to block abuse. We do not keep those logs ourselves and we do not join them to anything else.

If you write to hello@medovo.app, we have your message and your address until we delete the thread.
2. Why we collect it
- To send you one email when the product opens on 5 October 2026.
- To decide whether to build it. Answers to the form question are counted in aggregate and tell us whether the role-play station is the part worth the work.
- To keep the site up and see whether anyone is reading it.
That is the whole list. Nothing else here could use your address even if we wanted it to, because nothing else is built yet.
3. What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have never done either and have no plans to. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no data brokers, no Google Analytics and no Meta pixel. The only third-party code on this page is the form and the analytics named above.
We do not collect sensitive personal information as California defines it: no government identifiers, no health or immigration status, no precise geolocation, no racial or ethnic origin, no biometrics.
4. Who else touches it
Three companies process data on our behalf, each bound by its own agreement to process it only for us.

Medovo is operated from outside the United States and Canada. Your email address is therefore stored and processed in other countries, including the European Union, and while it is there it can be reached by the courts and authorities of those countries under their own laws. Canadian law asks us to tell you that, and you should know it before you type anything in.
5. How long we keep it
Your address stays on the waitlist until six months after the launch email goes out, then it is deleted without you having to do anything. Unsubscribe or ask us to delete it and that happens sooner. Aggregate counts, which lead back to nobody, may be kept after that.
6. Your choices
Wherever you live: you can ask what we hold on you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or get a copy. Write to hello@medovo.app from the address you signed up with, which is how we know it is you. We answer within 30 days. It costs nothing and we will not treat you differently for asking.
If you are in California
The CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to know what we collect and why, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of sale or sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be penalised for using any of those rights. We do not sell or share personal information and we do not collect sensitive personal information, so two of those rights have nothing here to act on. The rest work as described above. You may use an authorised agent; we will ask them for written proof.
We respect the Global Privacy Control signal your browser may send, because we would rather honour it than argue about whether it applies to us.
If you are in Canada
Under PIPEDA you can withdraw consent at any time, ask for access to your personal information, and challenge how we handle it. Start with us at hello@medovo.app. If we get it wrong, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
7. The email we send
You get one email, when the product opens. A second one would only happen because you asked for it. Every email carries a working unsubscribe link and a postal address, as United States law requires, and an unsubscribe is honoured immediately, well inside the ten business days the CAN-SPAM Act allows.
8. Age
Medovo is for people applying to medical school or to residency, which means adults. It is not directed at children, we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16, and if you tell us we have, we delete it.
9. Security
The site is HTTPS only. The .app domain sits on the HSTS preload list, so a browser physically refuses to load it any other way. The waitlist is encrypted at rest at Tally. The accounts that can reach your address have two-factor authentication on them. None of that is a promise that nothing can go wrong. It is what we actually do.
10. Changes
This page gets rewritten before the product opens, because the product collects things a waitlist does not: your voice, transcripts of what you said, and the reports built from them. That version arrives here with its own date and its own consent, and if you are on the waitlist when it lands, we will tell you. Smaller changes show up as a new date at the top.
11. Who to write to
Medovo is an independent project run by its founder, not a company with a privacy department. Questions, complaints and deletion requests go to the same place and reach a person: hello@medovo.app. Full legal and registration details will be published on this page before any payment is possible.
